Filters

Compressed air filters are used downstream of the compressor to remove contaminants like particulates, condensate and lubricant. There are three types of filters:
     • Particulate filters remove solid particles
     • Coalescing filters remove lubricant and moisture.
     • Adsorbent filters remove very fine contaminants.

As a general practice, a particulate filter should be installed after a desiccant dryer to remove desiccant “fines.” A coalescing filter should be installed before a desiccant dryer to prevent fouling of the desiccant bed. Additional filtration may also be needed to minimize pressure drop and energy consumption and meet requirements for specific end uses. We offer a variety of filters to meet your needs. GP-19 General Purpose Filter
Removes oil, water, condensate, dust, metal particles and pipescale down to 0.1 micron (solid), 0.5 mg/m3 (liquid).

HE-19 High Efficiency Coalescing Filter
Removes solid and liquid contaminants down to 0.01 microns (solid), 0.01 mg/m3 (liquid).

AC-19 Standard Activated Carbon Filter
High efficiency carbon filter. Removes oil vapor and odor from compressed air. Maximum remaining oil carryover is <0.003 mg/m3.

NLM Filter Module
Removes particles down to .1 micron at 99.98 percent efficiency with a guaranteed 2 psig or less pressure drop for five years.

Removes particles 1 micron or greater from dried compressed air. Should be used for after-filter applications.
